To measure surface resistivity :
- Simply place the meter on the surface of the material that requires measuring.
- Press the green test button. The meter will then light the appropriate LED from 10 to the power of 3 to 10 to the power of 12 Ohms per square or insulative.
To measure resistance to the ground :
- Simply place the meter on the surface of the material that requires measuring.
- Insert the earth wire into the earth socket attaching the alligator clip to ground point.
- Press the green test button. The meter will then light the appropriate LED from 10 to the power of 3 to 10 to the power of 12 Ohms per square or insulative.
- The meter uses precise spaced parallel bars to sense its measurements and operates with a 9-volts PP3 battery, which can last more than 40 hours of testing time. Calibration of the unit is recommended and this can be obtain by contacting your dealer.
